Electric cars could pay annual fee
I am happy that the editorial page joins Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island, in support of a $100 fee on electric cars to pay for wear and tear on the roadways in lieu of gasoline taxes [“Charge electric cars a road-usage fee,” Opinion, Feb. 10].
